BVC was established by Jon Boock, a New Zealand born ACA living in Israel for many years, after the completion of a period of 18 years as CFO of one of Israel’s largest and leading investment corporations. Prior to this, Boock was a senior manager at one of Israel’s largest concerns in the field of civilian and military electronic systems, and this after working previously in both the UK and Israel with a large international concern active in the building industry.

Over all these years, Boock was involved and acquired a wide range of knowledge, contacts and experience of activities within most sectors of the Israeli economy and participated in the acquisition of many different enterprises. These included the establishment of a company which operated Israel’s first commercial TV channel, one which launched cable TV services in Israel, another which became the license holder of Israel’s second mobile telephone operator, as well as the company that became the leading vehicle leasing service operator in the local market. Most of these enterprises involved participation of overseas investors and Boock became well acquainted with their business methods and demands, as well as the business activities in many of Israel’s overseas trading partners especially in the US and UK and lately in India.
